The bedrooms, named after the Muses of Spanish
Parnassus by the illustrious Don Francisco de Quevedo, are situated
on the house’s upper floor. Their names pay tribute to the
Madrid-born writer who died in Villanueva de los Infantes in 1648
and whose memory, therefore, remains forever here.
Three of them look directly out to the lively Calle Mayor and its
Plaza Mayor. The other three face two delightful patios, full of
light and colour. Each bedroom has its own distinctive personality,
being thoughtfully decorated with care and simplicity, creating
an atmosphere conducive to reflection, romanticism or just relaxation
in an environment specially thought out for you. Every bedroom is
a double with an en-suite bathroom fitted by the finest craftsmen.
Noble materials, such as hand carved sabine wooden floors and ceilings
(today protected), the raw white of its walls, the paintings that
hang from its walls, its personalized decoration, we speak of authenticity,
of flavor, of times gone by, momentarily detained in the traveler’s
hands.
